
Bhubaneswar: Three persons of Bomikhal area here in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, the Health department tweeted.
With this the total number of positive cases in the State went to nine, of which two persons have been cured and discharged from the hospitals.

The Health department also issued an advisory to follow lockdown rules and stay at home.

Earlier today Odisha government had announced total shutdown in state capital Bhubaneswar, Cuttack City and Bhadrak town starting from 8 PM on Friday to 8 PM of Sunday, a 48 hour complete shut down , aiming to prevent community transmission of COVID-19.
