Second Phase Elections in Odisha : 51% polling till 2 pm

An average of 51% polling was recorded by 2 pm today for the 11 Lok Sabha and 77 Assembly seats where voting is taking place today in the second phase of elections in Odisha. Angul district recorded the highest of 54.12% while Khurda recorded the lowest of 34%, sources in the Chief Electoral Office (CEO) said.

Slow to start with, voting is picking up as the day wears on and is likely to cross 70% by the time polling ends at 6 pm.
