Chandni Chowk Durga Puja mandap is one of the famous Durga Puja Mandap in Cuttack. This Puja Committee is mainly famous because this committee have preferred to tread the paths of history. So this puja mandap is unique from the others. This year the committee of Chandni Chowk Durga Puja have planned for the design of the Durga Puja Mandap Gates. I have given a brief description about the Durga Puja Gate Design of Chandni Chowk Durga Puja Mandap 2012 below.

This Year Chandni Chowk Durga Puja Committee have planned “Lighting Gates” for the Gate design of Chandni Chowk Durga Puja Mandap 2012. They have engaged lighting experts from Chandannagore in West Bengal to erect light gates in the shape of Barabati Fort, Orissa High Court and Chandi Mandir. One of the Secretary of Chandni Chowk Durga Puja Committee Mr. Prafulla Sahoo said that It is customary in our city to have a specially-created welcome arch for the worship of Durga. Every year, hordes of devotees pour in to catch the glimpse of our pandal“.
