Meghali Malbika Swain, the 10-year-old ‘Google Girl of India’, has set a record by reciting names of 165 rivers in European countries in one minute. The record has been included in the India Book of Records. Meghali had earned the sobriquet ‘Google Girl’ at the age of 5 as she displayed encyclopaedic knowledge. In 2013, she was highlighted by electronic and print media across the country.
Her excellent knowledge on world geography by Zee News, Meghali has an outstanding grasp over all the mountains, plateaus, peninsulas, islands, deserts, oceans, seas, bays, gulfs, straits,channels, rivers, tributaries, etc. In a blank world map, she can identify and locate any country or any physical geographical features of the world. She can also speak names of all 196 countries and their physical features, their capitals, currencies, languages, national flags.
Meghali is also a good violin player. “She loves music and has been trained in violin. With training of a few months, she performs like a master,” the father said.
