It should be noted that around 1, 45,065 candidates appeared the Odisha Teachers’ Eligibility Test (OTET) in nearly 392 centres across the State Odisha on 2nd December 2012. Notably, the test was earlier scheduled to be held on July 5th, but it was deferred as per a direction of the Orissa High Court.
